Durfee's French Club hosted "La Crêperie," to give students and staff a little taste of French culture. Providence Restaurant "La Crêperie" was invited to make authentic French crepes. The event was held on April 24 in Room 370 and the items on the menu were all $5 each.

Fresh crepes were prepared live at the event in
Room 370.
The Providence Crêperie staff offered both savory and sweet crêpes for Durfee students. While waiting in line, students were able to watch their meal being prepared.

The savory menu consisted of a "smores" crepe, Nutella crepe and chocolate chips and strawberries. For savory flavors, customers could have a choice of meat (ham, bacon and chicken), eggs, and cheese.

"It smells very good in here and very festive," said student Yahira Wooten, said.

"The smores crepe was really good. I plan on visiting the real restaurant," said Jayden Pimentel.

"The food was sweet and the room had a welcoming aroma," said Donovin Minks.

One of Durfee's French teachers, Mrs. Pierce, stated "Another super successful event with the Providence Crêperie! Bravo! Bon-Appetite!"
